International Drum Horse Association Show Schedule

The International Drum Horse Association is excited about the numerous show opportunities that are opening up to this wonderful horse. We are committed to supporting our members in the exposure of the versatile Drum horse to the public, through the various equine sports our members enjoy. The IDHA’s sponsorship of a show is largely based on the number of Drum participants anticipated at a particular show. The IDHA Drum horse standard is that Drum horses are of Clydesdale, Shire, and Gypsy breeding only.

Shows have two options for sponsorship and they are as follows:

Use the IDHA Drum horse standard and show rules for the Drum division for a larger sponsorship amount. Members who attend will received triple points towards IDHA end of year awards.

Use the IDHA Drum horse standard for the Drum division without using the IDHA show rules for a lesser sponsorship amount. Members who attend will receive double points towards IDHA end of year award.
